I stayed there one day only, but I could say it’s one of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed. The location is very good, in the center of the city. You can do many things in this hotel. The room is spacious and clean, so is the bathroom, the water run well. Wireless internet isn’t available, yet it’s not a problem if you use laptop because you just need to plug in the internet cable near the sofa. The breakfast is various and super tasty.
I did not know what to expect from staying here as there seem to be so many different reviews. However the price was very good especially when you compare it to the nearby hotels. I was able to get a junior suite for less money than it would cost me to stay in a normal room at a neighbouring hotel. Upon arrival I was checked in efficiently and professionally by a lovely young lady and then escorted to my room. The room was beautifully decorated and well appointed. I stayed for two nights and found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. My dinner in the Bengawan Solo was one of the best Indonesian meals I have ever had. There are some areas of the hotel that still look tired but my stay from the reception to the restaurants was very enjoyable and I would definitely stay again.
This hotel is a really friendly place to stay. Its super close to the Jogja City Mall, and its surrounded by interesting shops and delicious food options. The room was comfortable, the bed was great, and the whole hotel made me feel welcome no matter what time of the day or night it was.
